The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering solutions which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency reported it's alarmed regarding the significant variety of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some substantial amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no thoroughly functional office committed to service the area daily.
